Manchester City has once again asserted its dominance in the UEFA Champions League, topping Group G in the 2023/24 season. The English champions secured their place at the top of the standings with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Serbian side Crvena zvezda in their final group stage match.
City's impressive group stage performance saw them win four of their six matches, drawing one and losing one. Erling Haaland continued his prolific goalscoring form, netting five goals in the group stage, including a brace against Crvena zvezda.
With their group stage campaign complete, Manchester City will now look ahead to the knockout stages, where they will face Bayern Munich in the Round of 16. The first leg of the tie will be played at the Etihad Stadium on February 22, 2024, with the second leg taking place in Munich on March 8, 2024.
